Support that meets you where you are

Sort for Joy offers compassionate decluttering coaching and practical organizing support for your home, digital spaces, and the life tasks that can pile up around them. Whether we work together in person or virtually, we'll start with what's feeling overwhelming and choose the kind of support that makes sense for you.

In-person services are available throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and select areas of Maryland, with virtual support available anywhere.

How we can help…

Work side by side with me to sort through belongings, make thoughtful decisions, and create space for what supports your life now. I provide hands-on help and calm, judgment-free guidance while you remain in control of what stays and what goes.

Workspace with notes, laptop, and planner representing decluttering support beyond the home, including schedules, routines, and daily life organization

Get supportive decluttering guidance from wherever you are. Virtual sessions combine gentle accountability, decision-making support, and practical strategies to help you work through clutter and keep moving forward—without having to tackle it alone.

Bring more order to overflowing inboxes, photo libraries, files, and other digital spaces. Together, we’ll reduce digital overwhelm and create simple systems that make what you need easier to find and manage.

Once you’ve decided what belongs in your space, we can create simple, functional systems for what remains. The goal isn’t a magazine-perfect home—it’s an environment that works with the way you actually live and feels realistic to maintain.

Decluttering doesn’t end when you decide what to let go of. Fill your Goodbye Box™ with donations as you go, and when it’s full, I’ll pick it up and deliver the contents to local nonprofits—one less errand standing between you and a clearer space.

Deciding to let something go is only part of the process—it still has to leave the house. I can help identify thoughtful donation options, coordinate pickups, and assist with women’s and children’s clothing consignment so items you’re ready to release can actually move on.

Sometimes the clutter taking up the most space isn’t actually stuff. I offer personal task support for paperwork, logistics, lingering projects, and other unfinished to-dos that create mental clutter—helping you turn “I need to deal with that” into done.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You don't need to know which service is right for you before reaching out. Tell me a little about what's feeling overwhelming, what you'd like to change, and where you could use some support. Together, we can figure out a starting point that makes sense for you.

Whether you're ready to tackle a cluttered space, create better systems, finally deal with a lingering task, or simply figure out what comes next, you don't have to have it all figured out before you begin.
